Vanessa graduated from the business school at the University of Houston that afternoon. As family is extremely important to both of us, I thought that her graduation night provided the perfect opportunity to propose as it was likely to be the only time that both of our entire immediate families would be together until the wedding day (my sister lives in Virginia and her family is from Dallas). Both of our families and a few friends went to a nice dinner downtown after her graduation to celebrate. After dinner concluded, I gave a toast and at the end, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. There were tears of joy streaming down her cheeks before my knee touched the ground. She said yes and our family and friends cheered! She, as well as everyone with us, loved the ring and couldn’t stop saying how beautiful it was. Since that night, she has received numerous compliments about her ring.
I can’t thank Rick enough for all of his help in picking out the perfect ring. He is extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. It was a wonderful experience and he made a process that causes stress for many extremely enjoyable for me. I will surely be coming back to him for the wedding band and any other diamond needs in the future.
