Festari’s for Men’s annual Una Notte in Italia is as much known for the handsome men who walk the runway for charity as it is for being a fun, festive night. Uptown Diamond’s Grayland Noah got to strut his stuff on the run way as one of this years models.
This year’s event, benefiting Bo’s Place, held Friday at the Westin Galleria to a sell out crowd didn’t disappoint. Honorary chairs (and the masterminds behind the tony affair) were Debbie and Rudy Festari, owners of the luxe menswear store Festari for Men on Post Oak; with even co-chairs Jennifer Brown and Christie Sullivan. KPRC’s Dominique Sachse served as emcee.
Models were Houston Texans’ Duane Brown, Chris Myers and Garrett Graham and former Texan Kevin Walter; Carlos Babieri, Jim Furr, Garrett Graham, Andrew Hal, Joe Hancock, David Hartland, Chris Krieg, Steve Mach, Kevin Maples, Brad Marks, Sergio Morales, Chris Myers, Charlie Neuhaus, Grayland Noah, Michael Scheurich, Nitish Sethi, Jeff Shell, Mark Sullivan, Chad Tatum, John Tinkle and Dr. Haresh Yalamanchili. Unable to attend the event to walk the runway, Texans’ Brian Cushing donated a dinner for 14 at Del Frisco’s Steakhouse.
Auction prizes included a 3-night stay with a dinner and a Judith Leiber clutch at the Wynn in Las Vegas, a Sonoma, Ca., wine country excursion and a 7-night vacation in Italy.
Guests included Melissa and Michael Mithoff, Jill Schlenker in from Carmel, Ca., Gary and Gervaise Petersen, Becca and John Thrash, Vivian Wise and Ceron.
Founded in 1990, Bo’s Place is a non-profit center that provides grief support services to children, adults and families.
